I'd like to tell you a little about myself. I'm a native Spanish speaker, I was born in Cuba and immigrated to the US via the Freedom flights. My family is from Spain. I grew up in Miami which I consider my hometown. I married, Jose, in 1985 and moved to Gainesville. FL [Go Gators]. We moved Vidalia, GA and raised 3 wonderful children. In 2006, we came to Alabama. I graduated from GSU [Georgia Southern University] in 1991. I hold a BA in French and a BA inSpanish. I taught at West Laurens High School in Dublin, GA for 12 years. I then, took a position at Vidalia High School since my kids demanded more time and energy. At both schools I taught French & Spanish. I love teaching. I've traveled to Europe with and without student multiple times and love to speak to people in their own language.I have been at Holt High since 2013-2014 school year. Holt High is a wonderful community of teachers, staff, and students.
