Welcome to the Library

I am Mrs Fenton and I am excited to be the Brookwood Elementary School Library Media Specialist.  For over 20 years I have been in education working both in the classroom and in the library helping students develop a love of reading and excitment of working with technology.  My library is not a quiet one.  The teachers and I create collaborative lessons that involve real world experiences.  In here students are encourage to share ideas and build upon them to elevate their learning and thought processes.  This can include research, building Prezis, developing their own Kahoots games, Nearpods or Breakout Games just to name a few.  Students learn about both sides of a program so they can be 21st Century Learners. It all starts by providing them with a 21st Century library.   I love my library!
