    About Me:
I was born, raised, and still live in Northport, AL.  I attended Flatwoods Elementary, Lloyd Wood Middle School, and Tuscaloosa County High School where I was a majorette. Go Wildcats!!!! I am so excited to be teaching at the school I grew up going to.  It is bittersweet to be working with some of the same teachers that taught me!  I love to play the piano, read, and  spend time with my family and friends.
I attend Indian Lake Baptist Church where I love to worship my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I am involved in our choir and I direct our Children's Church ministry.  I also co-direct the summer daycamp we hold every summer for students who have finished kindergarten-6th grade.
This will be my fourth year to teach 3rd grade at Flatwoods, and third year as 3rd grade's lead teacher. In my opinion, 3rd grade is an amazing grade to teach because students are able to comprehend more advanced topics while still having an eagerness to learn.  I am looking forward to having another amazing year in 3rd!
