Masters Degree in Collaborative Special Education, The University of Alabama, 2010
Bachelors Degree in the Multiple Abilities Program, The University of Alabama, 2007
I had previously taught at Flatwoods for 7 years. Then my husband and I followed a calling from God to Arkansas, where I taught 2nd for a year. Even though we loved the area of Arkansas, we were so excited and blessed that God has called us back home to Alabama and allowed me the privilege to be back at Flatwoods! I am now working on my 9th year at Flatwoods. While at Flatwoods, I have taught every grade level K-3. This year I was moved back to first grade and I am looking forward to lots of new adventures. I can't wait for this amazing year and to see what it has in store! I am currently a first grade teacher and loving every minute of it.
A Little About Me
First and foremost for me is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For without him, I would not be here today! I am married to Ryan James. As part of this church, I help lead children's church, teach Sunday School, and head up the women's ministry. Ryan and I have 3 little girls who can best be described as sassy and energetic! Our family loves adventure and being on the go. I like riding four wheelers, hunting, photography, and so much more. My favorite color is pink - thankfully, with 3 girls who just adore the color. One of my favorite things is instilling a love for learning within the hearts of children. With your help, this year we will do just that!
