I graduated from Hillcrest High School in May 2011 and went on to complete my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama in December 2014. In 2016, I received my Master's degree in Collaborative Special Education K-12 from The University of West Alabama.
I began my Educating career at Taylorville Primary School as an extended leave substitute teacher in 2015. From there I accepted a full time First Grade position where I taught for the next two years. Upon receiving my Masters degree I transitioned to the Special Ed department where I taught for three years. Now I am looking forward to my first year back in First Grade.
I have spent almost my entire life in Tuscaloosa and have known no other home. I have been married since 2016 to my husband Kirby, an ICU nurse at DCH. In 2018 we had our first child Emma Ryan who is our world! We have a dog named doug and a cat named hamilton, things are very interesting at our house. Roll Tide!
