    Experience

I was born and raised here in Northport.  I attended Huntington Place, Echols, and then Tuscaloosa County High School. I knew from the time I was in Mrs. Harton's first grade class at Huntington Place that I was called to be a teacher. I attended the University of Alabama (Roll Tide) and graduated with honors in 2011. I began my teaching career immediately at Vance Elementary. I taught 2nd grade for a few years at VES before transferring to Northport Elementary..my forever home.

    Bio

I have a precious 5 year old daughter who will be starting kindergarten this year! Time flies! I am engaged to be married to my best friend, Kyle Chronister. So, my name will be changing soon:) I enjoy spending time with my sweet family, being outdoors in the sun, reading, dance, eating out, getting my nails done, and of course spending time planning and playing in my classroom. I believe that learning occurs best when we are all having fun! My classroom is a very active one, where we are rarely sitting still. I believe that each child has the ability to learn and I am the one to facilitate that learning..no matter what their learning style is! I love watching my students learn and grow throughout their year with me. I look forward to getting to know each and every sweet face in the greatest elementary school on the planet!! 💗🦄💗🦄
