• I’m Coach Watkins and I teach US 10 and US 11 History. I also am the Head Boys Basketball Coach. This is my 11th year teaching and my 6th year at Holt High. I have my Bachelor of Arts in Communications from The University of Alabama and my Master of Arts in Teaching from The University of West Alabama.

    My goal is to make a positive impact on young people in every aspect of education from the classroom to the basketball court. I believe students don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. We have a unique opportunity to impact student’s lives.

    I was born and raised in Tennessee. I grew up just south of Nashville and was raised an Alabama fan. Once I graduated the University of Alabama I like Tuscaloosa so much I decided to live here.

    We look forward to another great year at Holt High School.
