Although I am originally from Albertville, Alabama, I have lived in Tuscaloosa for the last seven years. I attended Shelton State Community College where I graduated with an Associate in Applied Science. I then transferred to the University of Alabama where I met my husband, Caleb Baumgarten. I graduated from UA in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Education (Secondary Education English Language Arts), and I completed my Master of Arts (Curriculum and Instruction) at UA in 2017. In addition to attending SSCC and UA, I also cheered and was a member of the 2012 and 2013 national championship teams at Shelton (Go Bucs!) and the 2015 All Girl national championship team at Alabama (Roll Tide!). This is my third year at Tuscaloosa County High School, and I am a wildcat through and through! I teach ninth grade English, as well as co-sponsor/coach the junior varsity and varsity cheerleading teams. I am looking forward to a wonderful year full of learning, excitement, and growth! GO WILDCATS!!
