Hello Parents and Students!I hope all of you are staying safe and healthy.Just wanted to update everyone. At this time we have not heard anything from the central office concerning guidelines for distance learning. However, we should hear something folowing the Principals' meeting which is scheduled for Thursday, March 26th.I have had several inquiries concerning learning opportunities to help during this time and I would recommend using IXL. It is a great website to practice/learn Science skills and has plenty to engage with for all grade levels. If your student logs in under Clever he or she can access IXL through that website. During the school year the district did not have access to the Science portion however, it is available now. Your student has used this during the year in their math class and should know their way around the site. The last nine weeks we covered human body systems. Additionally we have covered cells, heredity, genetics and the Scientific Method. Please feel free to brush up on these concepts until we hear more concerning the remainder of the school year. For your convenience here is the link to all the 7th grade standards:https://www.ixl.com/science/grade-7We have also been given access to Adventure Academy: https://www.adventureacademy.com/redeem/ Use the code:SCHOOL1208"From the creators of ABCmouse.com, Adventure Academy is the newest educational product from Age of Learning Inc. featuring endless game play." -Adventure AcademyThank you for your patience during this time and your interest in continuing the learning process.
