My name is Carla Moore and I am so excited to be the 7th and 8th Grade School Counselor at Brookwood Middle School! I have been an educator for over ten years. This is my third year at BMS, and I am looking forward to another great school year. Both of my boys attended Brookwood Middle and High School. I am very proud to be a panther!

I look forward to working with each and every student to help them with their academic, social and emotional needs.  I will continuously strive to assist students, parents, teachers, and administrators in making BMS a wonderful experience for our children of today and leaders of tomorrow!

Our school creed, P-R-I-D-E fits perfectly into all aspects of school counseling.

Participation - Students participate in guidance lessons that are taught each month about various topics like conflict resolution and the Six Pillars of Character.

Responsibility - Students show responsibility by learning their INOW username, password, and checking with their teachers for make-up work when absent.

Integrity - Students show integrity when they see something and say something. Whether they are being bullied or see bullying, they should report the behavior.

Dedication - Students show dedication when they correct a behavior that they may or may not have been aware of. Being dedicated to learning from our mistakes is a lesson we can all improve on!

Effort - Students show effort when they ask for guidance in changing a behavior. That improvement helps establish healthy relationships with others and is one of the most important things we will ever do in life!

If I can assist you in any way throughout the school year please feel free to call or email me.
