Hi! I'm Emily White, and I am the speech pathologist at Flatwoods Elementary. I moved to Northport with my family in 2018 and began working with Tuscaloosa County Schools. I have been a speech-language pathologist for 20 years, working in both Alabama and Georgia. I love teaching students how to become better communicators!
I am from Decatur, Alabama and graduated from Decatur High School. I attended college at the University of Montevallo, where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Science & Disorders in 1998. I moved to Asheville, North Carolina and continued my education at Western Carolina University, earning a Master's Degree in Communication Science & Disorders in 2002.
I am married to Daniel White and have one son, Charlie. We have a crazy Golden Retriever named Wrigley and cat named Bean. I love to read, travel and spend time with my family.
