My name is Laura Wilsie.  I am a graduate of The University of Alabama where I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, Highly Qualified.  I am currently in graduate school for Educational Leadership at The University of Alabama.  This is my thirteenth year to be teaching at Englewood Elementary.  I began my teaching career during the 2008-2009 school year as a third grade teacher and taught third grade for five years, taught fourth grade for two years during the 2013-2015 school years, and came back "home" to third grade beginning the fall of 2015 and here we are getting ready for the 2020-2021 school year.  One of my greatest blessings in my teaching career is seeing and hearing from former students.  I look forward to a successful year!
