Bio:
Hello and thank you for visiting my page! I am Amanda Jordan and I am originally from Alexander City, Alabama. In 2008, I attended The University of Alabama. While studying for my undergraduate degree, I marched in the Million Dollar Band and played the mellophone. In May 2012, I received by Bachelors in Early Childhood Special and General Education. From 2012-2014, I attended graduate school at The University of Alabama as a graduate assistant. In 2014 I graduated with my Masters in Severe Disabilities Education.
I married my husband, Cason, in 2014. We have a four year old little girl, Kayleigh, who is our pride and joy. She brings us lots of laughter as we make sweet memories. We also have 3 dogs (Brook, Darla, and Abby) and one cat (Stitch).
I love working with kids. During the summers, I am Assistant Camp Director and Counselor In Training Director for Camp Seale Harris--a camp for kids with type I diabetes. I love being outside and spending time with my family and pets. Some of my hobbies include: kayaking, paddle boarding, spending time on the lake, and riding rollercoasters.
I am so excited to be at Brookwood Elementary School! This will be a great year!
