    • Beta Club members – please stop by Ms. Davis’ room (1508) today to vote for club officers. 


    • Seniors interested in the BF Goodrich Tech Scholar Program needs to see Mrs. McGillivray in room 1632 BEFORE Spring BreakBG Goodrich will be testing for this program on Shelton State Campus on March 23, 2023, but you must sign up with Mrs. Mac  before March 7th to get a testing slip....  


    • Are you an 11th grader currently participating in Shelton State Dual Enrollment programs-  if so you have the opportunity to apply to be a Dual AmbassadorSee Mrs. Mac for more detailsApplication closes March 1st. 


    • Are you a Junior or Seniors in a career tech programHave a 3.0 and completed 2 courses in a programThen why apply to join the National Technical Honor Society...  Applications are located outside the counseling suite by the elevatorOr Ask you career tech teacher for more details.....All applications are due to Mrs. Mac in room 1632 no later than Feb 10th. 


    • Are you interested in learning more about the Medical Field? If so, come by room 1206 and pick up an application for Foundations of Health Science! Have you already taken Foundations of Health Science and would like to advance in the program? See Mr. Guin in room 1217 for a Sports Medicine application or Mrs. Workman in room 1206 for an Internship Application. You must apply in order to be accepted, so stop by for an application and to ask any questions you may have! 


    • Seniors, please follow the TCHS counselors Facebook page and check the TCHS Website for up to date Scholarship information.   Shelton State Institutional and Foundation scholarship portals are open until MARCH 1st.   DCH Foundation scholarships are open until March 31st 4:00pm.  


    • VALENTINES DAY PAJAMA DAY! What better way to celebrate than getting to dress comfy at school all day? Next Tuesday, Feb. 14th pay $1 in the commons. All pajamas must be school appropriate 



    • Any 11th or 12th student that plans to take Eng 101 and/or MTH 112 as a dual enrollment course at Shelton State in the Summer or Fall Term needs to sign up to take the ACCUPLACER, See your Advisory teacher to sign up. ACT scores will not be available until well after enrollment deadline ends, so yes you need an ACCUPACER score..(2-10) 

    • Any 9th, 10th or 11th grade student that would like to sign up to take Dual/ Early College courses in the Summer or Fall term will need to sign up to attend the TC Dual/Early College informational workshop on Feb 14th. See your advisory teacher to sign up (2-10) 


    • Club Picture Day will be moved to February 21st , please mark your calendars.  


    • Auditions for the spring musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, will be held on February 13th from 3:15-5:00 and February 14th 3:15-4 in the choir room. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to audition! 


    • Unsure about what to do for auditions? There will be an audition workshop for our spring musical on February 7th from 3:15-5:00. Stop by Miss Fuller’s room 1606 with any questions.  


    • Starting in the Fall of 2023, dual enrollment English, math, history and biology classes though Shelton State will be offered on campus at TCHS. See Mrs. Mac for more information on the application process to take these classes. For more information about Biology 103, see Mr. Glasgow room 2404. 


    • FTA members – see Fanning for a sweatshirt order form this weekAll orders are due by February 8th at noon.  Current and former Education students as well as Faculty and Staff may also purchase sweatshirts.  (Tuesday February 7th) 


    • The Soccer team will be having a Spirit Night at Jalapeños by the school on Monday, February 6th from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Please come out, have a good meal for a good cause, and help the soccer program. (Monday February 6th)

    Tangerine chicken, cheeseburger, choice of pizza, green beans, lemon roasted carrots, Salad, Fresh Fruit
