    Happy College Application Week!  Seniors- Make plans to stop by the English Lab this week to apply for college.  Today- we will have a representative from the University of West Alabama here to speak to interested students.  Please listen for the announcement and make plans to attend her presentation!! 


    The TCHS Winter Guard auditions will be held on November 2nd and 4th in the gym. No dance experience is required. Pick up an audition packet from Ms. Sturdivant, room 2609. Come with an open mind and experience all that Winter Guard has to offer!  


    Seniors- Scholarship information has been updated on the school website.  Please visit www.countyhigh.com. Scholarship info can be found by clicking the TCHS Counselors link on the left hand side of the page.   


    The Author’s Guild- a new club for aspiring authors- will meet on Tuesday afternoons from 3:15 until 4:30 in Mr. Buchwalter’s room 1414 beginning Tuesday, October 19th. Free to join; for coffee, bring a cup and $1.    


    Want to stay up to date on Dual Enrollment information? TEXT- @nctade  to 81010. Dual Enrollment open enrollment is available now through December 1st.  Stop by room 1408 to pick up a participation form today.  Any student interested in participating must complete a participation form. Dual Enrollment scholarship forms are also available for students who have not received TCHS scholarship funds in the past.   See Mrs. Mac for an application.  Scholarship deadline is NOV 12-  NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!   


    Any 11th or 12th grade students interested in taking the ASVAB on October 25th please sign up in Mrs. Mac office- room 1408.  Must sign up before October 20th. 


     Seniors- this week is College Application Week!  We received a list of over 70 schools that have waived the application fee so that you can APPLY FOR FREE!!.  The counselors will be in the English Lab during 1st and 2nd blocks every day (but Tuesday).  All students should have the opportunity to apply to at least one school.   Students, you will receive a button before you leave the lab which will serve as your hall pass.   

     We will have college representatives here from the following colleges: 

     Monday- University of West Alabama- 10:30 presentation in multimedia room and staying to talk to students during lunch 

    Wednesday- Shelton State Community College- 8:30 English Computer Lab 

    Thursday- University of Alabama- 8:30 English Computer Lab 



    We appreciate our Adopt-A-School Partner, Shelton State Community College.  We are excited to welcome them into the Wildcat Family.  Help us spread the news in our community!   


    Today’s lunch choices include:  

    Pizza, philly cheese steak, chicken nuggets, hamburger steak 

    Sides: mashed potatoes, green beans, side salad, fresh fruit
