My name is Karen Daggert. Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year at Flatwoods Elementary School.

 

Masters Degree in Elementary Education 2004: University of Alabama

Bachelors Degree in Biology 1999: University of Alabama

 

This year will be my eighth to teach 2nd grade. Prior to teaching 2nd, I taught Kindergarten for 5 years.

 

I am from Northport, Alabama. I went to school at Flatwoods Elementary myself many years ago. This is my home!

 

I am married to Chris Daggert. We have two children, Sam and Nate. They are students here at Flatwoods Elementary. We have one dog named Fresno. We enjoy spending time together, especially outdoors. We love to ride bikes, swim, walk in the woods, kayak, and fish. We are Christians and attend Anchor Church, where I help teach the children.
