    Welcome
    My name is Karen Daggert. Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year at Flatwoods Elementary.
     
    Education
    Masters Degree in Elementary Education: University of Alabama
    Bachelors Degree in Biology: University of Alabama
     
    Experience
    This year will be my third as the K-4 Interventionist. Prior to this school year, I taught 2nd grade and Kindergarten. This year will be my 16th to teach. I became National Board Certified in 2020.
     
    Background
    I am from Northport, Alabama. I went to school at Flatwoods Elementary myself many years ago. This is my home!
     
    I am married to Chris Daggert. We have two children, Sam and Nate, both of whom attended Flatwoods Elementary, but are now at Echols Middle School and TCHS. We have one dog, a Rat Terrier named Fresno. We enjoy spending time together, especially outdoors. We love to ride bikes, kayak, camp out, and fish. We are Christians and attend Anchor Church.
