BROOKWOOD HIGH SCHOOL REMOTE LEARNING

  • Return Process:

Parents who choose for their student(s) to return to BHS campus will need to complete a re-entry survey prior to making plans to return to school. The survey is linked below, and it can also be found on our Remote Learning webpage.

After taking the survey, parents will be contacted directly by Mrs, Kizziah to make arrangements for the student to return to campus. Parents and students will be given a specific date to return. https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx...

Please note, if the student previously rode the bus and has not moved or changed addresses for pickup or drop off, be sure to include the student's bus number on the re-entry survey. Generally these requests to be added back to the bus route are approved within a 24-hour turn around time.

If a student has NOT ridden the bus previously OR has moved/changed addresses for pickup and/or drop off, they will need to complete the online transportation request form located at www.tcss.net under ‘Quick Links’. The turnaround time will be 24-48 hours for approval. Depending on the number of requests submitted to the system, it could take up to a week for approval to begin riding. These students' will be contacted directly by the transportation office.

If you are a current on-campus learner and are interested in becoming a remote learner email Mrs. Kizziah at tskizziah@tcss.net for more information.

Remote students will receive instruction from their teachers at BHS, while students remain at home. Students will receive instruction digitally via Schoology. Students choosing this option must continue for nine-week increments. At the end of each nine weeks, they may choose to return to school as an On-Campus learner. If you have other concerns regarding returning to school outside these three windows, please contact Mrs. Kizziah or an administrator.
