I am an ASHA certified SLP and hold a state license to practice.  Most of my experience is with the pediatric population in a variety of settings, such as private clinics, university setting, and school-systems.  I have also worked with adults in the hospital setting.  In addition, I have experience teaching and mentoring clinical graduate students from UA and MUW.  My primariy responsibilities with TCSS is the preschool speech program.  I serve all of our preschool-age students in the TCSS district that qualify for speech-only services and not currenlty attending a TCSS school program.  These services are scheduled weekly and provided at Northport Elementary School.  I also help complete developmental and speech & language evaluations for our younger preschool children not enrolled in school.  I enjoy mentoring aspiring SLPs and often times superivse interns throughout the school year.

I live in Tuscaloosa with my husband, daughter, and our dog, Murphy.  I am from Columbus, Mississippi and attended The Universityof Alabama for my undergradutae and graduate studies.  We lived and worked in Atlanta, Georgia after graduation, but returned home in January 2010. At that time I worked at UA as an SLP serving our community.  I joined the TCSS family during the 2014-2015 academic year and in 2019 moved to Northport Elementary School.
