I am honored to be serving as an Instructional Partner for the Tuscaloosa County School System. Although this is my first year in this district, I have taught for thirteen years in both the private and public school setting. I have taught all subject-content areas and feel this is a strength that can be used to support both educators and students. I believe it is imperative to promote a positive teaching/learning environment through collaborative relationships.
Education is always evolving; therefore, I believe it is important to stay up-to-date with the most current research. Some of my academic achievements include:
- Instructional Leadership, 2019
- Ed.S Special Education Collaborative, 2019
- M.Ed Special Education Collaborative, 2017
- B.Ed Elementary Education, 2014
My family and I live in Vestavia Hills. My husband is a Clinical Researcher at UAB, and our two boys attend our local schools. We love all outdoor activities: trail running, rock climbing, camping, and hiking with our two dogs.
My husband and I both attended the University of Alabama as undergraduate students, and we love to cheer on The Tide! 🐘
