My name is Dustin Hyche, and I was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and grew up in Brookwood, Alabama. In 1998, I moved to The Woodlands, Texas and later attended The Woodlands High School. After graduating, I moved back to Tuscaloosa to attend the University of Alabama, where I graduated in 2012 while working as an intern for TailorMade Financial.
Upon graduating, I entered the financial services industry, working with Northwestern Mutual, TailorMade Financial, and eventually launching my own firm. After working in the financial industry for eight years, I came to the realization that I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing something more impactful on society: teaching and coaching football. I enjoy having the privilege of mentoring young adults in the classroom and on the football field to teach them lifelong lessons that will prepare them for the real world. In 2019, I joined Sipsey Valley High School as an Algebra teacher while completing my master’s degree in teaching mathematics. In the spring of 2021, I was offered the position to teach and coach at Aliceville High School, and I coached the defense throughout the spring until the opportunity arose to come to Holt High School for the 2021-22 school year.
I have been married for seven wonderful years to my wife Megan, who stays at home with our two kids, Marissa (4) and Spencer (1). I am very excited about establishing a standard of excellence at Holt High School, and I look forward to working with all of our students and athletes! Go Ironmen!
