It is very important that your child is at school each day. The bell will ring for all students to go to class at 7:50. Class begins at 8:00 AM and ends at 2:42 PM. Your child is tardy after 7:58 and must be signed in at the office.

Attendance is essential in your child’s education. Please make being on time and staying all day as a top priority!

Children arriving at school before 7:30 AM will be considered part of the Early Morning Program. This program starts at 6:40 AM and lasts until 7:30 AM. The cost is $2.00 per day.

The buses unload at the front of the school, car riders at the back of the school. Drop off and pick up locations for Pre-k will be at the front of the school. Please do not pull up to drop students off until after 7:45. The busses will be unloading from 7:30-7:45.  Please, unless your child participates in the Early Morning Program, do not allow your child to come in the front door until 7:30.  This is a safety issue. All students go immediately to the cafeteria if they have not eaten breakfast or to the gym for our walking program.  Breakfast begins at 7:30 and the children are dismissed to their classrooms at 7:50.

            Bus Riders      2:38 PM

            Car Riders      2:40 PM

           Extended Day  2:42 PM

Please make sure your child and his/her teacher knows how to get home each day. Students will go home based on the information provided on the registration form. If your child needs to go home in a way different from his/her normal routine, we must have a note.  We cannot accept telephone calls to make changes to normal afternoon routine. A note or fax must be given to the school. This is a safety issue.

If your child plans to go home with another student, both parents please send a note home informing the teachers of the change in routine.
