We are excited to announce the SeniorCare.com Aging Matters Scholarship. A $1500 scholarship will be given annually to a selected college student that currently cares for an aging loved one, works within the senior community, or intends to pursue a career that will have an impact on the elder population. Any existing student (or incoming freshman), in good academic standing, at a 2 or 4 year accredited college can apply for this scholarship. And the recipient will demonstrate a unique and admirable understanding and desire to show us that "Aging Matters" to them. Application Deadline: May 15th, 2023

Scholarships are for residents in Alabama who want to pursue a technical education certificate or associate degree in programs related to the automotive manufacturing industry. Students will need to be enrolled in a program at an Alabama community college that is associated with automotive manufacturing careers. Interested students with at least a 2.5 GPA can learn more information and apply directly through the website.

The Alabama Commission on Higher Education offers various state scholarships and financial aid programs for Alabama residents. Apart from living in the state, you also must be a U.S. citizen. 

Six $750 scholarships to be awarded to students who are residents of the State of Alabama and planning to enter college in summer or fall of 2023.

Up to $7,000 in Full Tuition for children of parents with military experience. 

The Alabama Home Builders Foundation scholarship was founded in 1995 with a mission to help fund deserving students who are interested in pursuing an education in the residential building trades in the state of Alabama. Applicant must be a resident of Alabama, must be enrolling in, or attending, an accredited junior college, technical school or university in Alabama, and must be enrolled in a residential construction-related curriculum. Alfa Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist members of the Alabama Farmers Federation who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs in the state of Alabama. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice. Opens in November.

The AWS Welder Training Scholarship is for students seeking welder training in a certificate program less than two years in length through a trade school, community college, or other facility providing welder training.  The scholarship cannot be used towards an accociates or bachelor's degree program.

APIA Scholars provides scholarships to qualified students of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage pursuing an undergraduate degree at a U.S.-accredited college or university. Scholarships range from one-time $2,500 awards to multi-year $20,000 awards.

The ARRL Charles Clarke Cordle Memorial Scholarship is an award for amateur radio operators. Applicants must possess an active Amateur Radio License Class; be a resident of Georgia or Alabama, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. The Airgas ­Jerry Baker Scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student pursuing a minimum four-year bachelors degree in welding engineering (WE) or welding engineering technology (WET); however, priority will be given to welding engineering (WE) students interested in pursuing a career with an industrial gas or welding equipment distributor. Applicants must be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma and must be a full-time student. Applicants must also have at least a 2.8 accumulative GPA with a 3.0 GPA in engineering courses and be a citizen of the U.S. or Canada who is or will be attending an academic institution located in the U.S. or Canada. Priority will be given to those individuals residing or attending school in the states of Alabama, Georgia or Florida. Both merit- and need-based, the Cobell Scholarship is available to members of a U.S. federally recognized tribe, who are enrolled in full-time study and are degree-seeking. Applicants must plan to attend or be attending any nationally, regionally, or industry accredited nonprofit, public, or private institution.

The CollegeCounts Scholarship provides funding assistance to Alabama high school students who demonstrate a financial need and a genuine desire to make a difference. Applicants must be a high school senior or first-time college freshman beginning in fall of the year the scholarship is awarded, be a U.S. citizen, be an Alabama resident and be planning to enroll in an Alabama eligible educational institution in fall.
