New Partnership is Game Changer
Sipsey Valley Middle School is delighted to partner with Tuscaloosa Coca-Cola Bottling Company as our Adopt-A-School partner. The team at Coca-Cola has been searching for a school community in which they can use their talents to help support educational programs in the Tuscaloosa area. Kevin Horton, Sales Center Manager at Tuscaloosa Coca-Cola Bottling Company says, “Sipsey Valley Middle School is the ideal school for this partnership. Our team members are very much looking forward to this school year.” We are also partnering with Woodforest National Bank again this year, and they have already begun being involved with our school.
The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama website provides detailed information about the Adopt-A-School program which began in 1985. According to the website, “The purpose of the program is to utilize the vast amounts of human resources and talents of the business community to strengthen, enhance, and enrich the quality of education in our 57 public schools of the Tuscaloosa City and Tuscaloosa County School systems.” Sipsey Valley Middle School along with Tuscaloosa Coca-Cola Bottling Company and Woodforest National Bank are looking forward to another exciting year of partnership.
