We will have a Hat Day on Friday March 29th, next week! Bring 2 cans of food or 1.00 and wear your hat all day! Thank you for helping those in need.
Colorguard, Danceline, and Majorette audition applications and fees are due to Ms Sturdivant by Tuesday, March 26th.
The drama department will present its spring show-Bad Date Night-An Evening of One Acts on April 5 and 6 at 7:00 pm at Christ Harbor Church. Tickets are $ 10.00 and are available at the door. Come out for a funny show and support your TCHS drama department.

Prom 2019: A Night In New Orleans will be held April 12th at 8pm at the Tuscaloosa River Market. Tickets will be sold April 1st-5th in the cafeteria and online. After April 5th, ticket prices will increase.
Any student that is between the ages of 14 and 17 and would like to be a volunteer teen leader at CHOM this summer needs to pick up an application outside Mrs. Hagler’s door in the counseling suite. Applicants are required to attend an interview session, and if selected, be willing to volunteer at least 8 hours a week. Applications are due back to CHOM by April 26th.
Sophomores: If you would like to apply for Forerunners for next year, see Mr. Barkdoll in room 1504 to get an application and more information. Forerunners is a program that emphasizes leadership skills and community awareness. You must have at least a B average, strong leadership skills, excellent attendance, no discipline record, and multiple references. The deadline to submit an application to the Forerunners Office at the Chamber of Commerce is March 29th. Once again, see Mr. Barkdoll if you are interested in applying for Forerunners for the upcoming school year.
Attention Students: If you are interested in applying to be a TCHS Ambassador for the 2019-2020 school year, please see Mrs. Dunn in room 1415 for an application. You must have a “C” average and be a current sophomore or junior. A written interview, an oral interview, and a resume are required. Applications must be returned by noon by Tuesday, April 2nd.
Boys basketball tryouts for the 2019-2020 basketball season will be held Tuesday, May 14 and Wednesday, May 15 from 3:15-5:30 in the gym. You must sign up with Coach Weeks by Friday, May 10, and you must have an updated physical form with you in order to try-out. Physicals will be given at DCH Encore (Spine Care) on Ruby Tyler Parkway on April 27th from 8am- 12 pm for $15.
If you are interested in having fun and learning to play tennis, sign up for 7th period tennis class. The class fee is $25.00. We will learn to play tennis a few days a week and use the other days as a study hall. This class is designed to be a fun, relaxed, pressure-free form of exercise.
